Serpent Thinks Dirty!!

One of the most exciting stories this week is from long time on road car builder, Serpent, following in the steps of XRay, and committing to do it in the dirt.
Serpent has announced that it will be building a 1/10th and a 1/8th scale buggy.
Serpent has signed Gerd Strenge, who is better known for the Durango line of 4wd off road buggies, to design and develop the Serpent buggies.
Serpent is no stranger to off road, however, it has been 20 years since Serpent has built a car that will get it done off road.
Serpent has also announced this week that they have contracted Joern Neumann to drive the forth coming Serpent buggy. Joern is better known in the electric classes, however, with his win at the Pro-Line Indoor race in the UK, beating drivers like Ryan Maifield, Scott Hughes, and Jerome Aigoin, he has established himself as a very capable driver with an 1/8th scale as well.
Joern drove a highly modified TTR S3 to the win at the Pro-Line race which happened to be the creation of Gerd Strenge.
